Sancho, the Silly Billy Goat, is based on a true story that happened in Beasley in the 1940’s. This little goat caused all kinds of trouble for the family that owned him to the point that he had to be sent away. The book is written as a narrative poem and includes 20 Spanish words with a glossary for their pronunciations and meanings. Artwork was provided by 14 year old student Mykala Sutton from Louisiana.
